Nine special sessions, organized by students, post-doctoral fellows and research fellows, were selected by the Scientific Organizing Committee, out of over 40 submitted session proposals, as a part of the regular scientific program. The scientific committee took into consideration the novelty and timeliness of the topic, and the redundancy with existing sessions.
The sessions are:
From the lab to the plate – BioConvergence for food development
Mechanism of Healthy Aging
Protein translation in health and disease
From mutation to evolution
Tissue Repair in the Animal Kingdom
Molecular tools in wildlife conservation research
New Biomaterials for Tissue Engineering Applications
Biological control and plasticity from molecular circuits to human populations
