Tourist Visas

All visitors to Israel must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months from the date they enter the country.

The rules for  travel to Israel have changed. Starting from January 2025, visitors from visa-exempt countries are required to obtain an ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) to enter the state of Israel. An approved ETA-IL, indicates that you are allowed to travel to Israel and stay for up to 90 days per visit.

All travelers to Israel must have a valid visa or an ETA-IL approval before they start their journey. If you are eligible, obtaining an ETA-IL is a simpler and faster process. Click here to learn more.

Note: Israeli citizens or holders of an Israeli identity number do not need to apply for an ETA-IL.

Letters of invitation will be issued by the Conference Secretariat to bona fide participants only. Requests should be sent on the official letterhead of the Applicant company / organization.

Individuals from countries without diplomatic relations with Israel should write to the Conference Secretariat, ilanit@ortra.com, no later than three months prior to the Conference, giving their full name, date and place of birth, passport number, date of issue and expiry, date of arrival and flight details. Each conference participant is responsible to apply for a Tourist Visa or ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) before the arrival. The Conference Secretariat will do its best efforts to arrange for a visa to be issued at the airport upon arrival; however, granting such requests is at the discretion of the authorities in Israel.

Note: Passport and visa requirements are liable to change at short notice. Travelers are advised to check their entry requirements with the Israeli Embassy/Consulate or with their travel agent.

For any questions relating to visas, please contact the Conference Secretariat at adi@ortra.com.
